Howdy,
Spent some time today editing a thousand words worth of the Jake Jones story. From chapter two, here’s what’s “new” with the novella:
“And his height put him in a guard position, probably the point or as an extremely undersized two; where he’d face speed and quickness in standard competitors. It was simply just that that wouldn’t be his game; he’d never play as a blazing jitterbug, jetting and side-stepping and being back in a spot briefly vacated, flashing, style and in the way of a flickering phantom. An exceptional opponent presenting a slick and slippery spook to defend. No, the slower Jake Jones would be the one faced with locking in to contain the wind.”
