Howdy,

I don’t know (and this makes me about qualified as a weatherman, it seems) if it’ll happen. Truthfully, I doubt it will. Nevertheless, the forecast found on my phone shows a beautiful and bewitching sight.

It predicts that after tomorrow (have to write this today — now! — so that it’s still for sure the case upon composition) we’ll have rain for eight straight days, Saturday to Saturday.

Captured a screen shot quickly — snapped on location in Denair — so the rain didn’t go away before I finished composing this maelstrom.

Resplendent!

Rain doesn’t depress me one drop.

I say, Bring It! That, and, Thank You, Lord. Amen.

(You’ve seen the PRAY FOR RAIN signs, often blue and white with the reference 1 Thessalonians 5:17. The passage of 5:16-18 reads, “16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God …”  Thus the contiguous signs reminding all to GIVE THANKS FOR THE RAIN with 1 Thess. 5:18.)

We (Californians) all know we need it, yet when it comes we can wish it were at another time. Local rainstorms may propose a nuisance for some and be somewhat inconvenient for my family and me in certain scenarios, but I’m enthralled with the weather picture. Thankful and excited to see it pour.

Right now I’d take it every day of the week and twice on Sunday, but even better would be eight days straight.

P.S. Next Saturday is as far out as my phone depicted … maybe the rain will have an even longer run. Beautiful and bewitching.
